Shipley Nature Center has been a popular place to see the natural world in Huntington Beach California since 1974. It was named for a former city mayor, Donald Shipley who wanted to have a place that preserved Southern California before the development filled in all the gaps. It’s located in Huntington Beach Central Park off Goldenwest Street. Walk the trails and enjoy this oasis in the heart of Orange County.
