California’s Great America

Great America is Northern California’s favorite place for family fun and thrills starring your kids’ favorite Snoopy characters, and the most kids rides and attractions in the Bay Area. The Planet Snoopy area has themed rides for kids, a “Splash Dance” where kids can dodge water streams on hot days (bathing suits not required), and a place to meet all of the Peanuts characters.

Thrill rides include Delirium-a powerful spinning pendulum that will send you whirling sky high. Flight Deck is a jet coaster with a 360-degree vertical loop, two 270-degree turns, a full-circle wingover, and a zero gravity roll. Drop Tower is a 22 story free fall – one of the highest in America. Psycho Mouse has 14 hairpin corners and many dips on a super long track. And of course they still have two tall, fast, classic wooden roller coasters. There are many other diamond and double-diamond rated rides to choose from.

On hot days enjoy three different water rides at Great America. Adjacent to Great America is a full-blown water park called Boomerang Bay where you can get soaked to the bone (bathing suits required!).
