About Santa Barbara Maritime Museum in Santa Barbara, California

Santa Barbara Maritime Museum is easy to get to from touristy State Street and Stearns Wharf on the Santa Barbara Waterfront. It’s in between two great beaches, West Beach and Leadbetter Beach, with the small beach at the end of the harbor breakwater close too. Stop in to the museum to learn about the history of ships, diving, commercial fishing, seaplanes, marine safety agencies, lighthouses, and the natural oil seeps in the area. Lots of exhibits and hands on tools make it fun for kids and adults. There area paid lots near the harbor, but it’s easy to park on Cabrillo Blvd and walk over to the harbor to see the Museum. Several good restaurants are nearby including Brophy Bros and Waterfront Grill.
