Bahia Point Park is a grass park with a narrow sandy beach that wraps around the Bahia Resort Hotel on Mission Bay in San Diego. Bahia Point is a small peninsula that sticks out into Mission Bay not far from the Belmont Park Amusement Park at Mission Beach. The beach in Bahia Point park faces north and east toward Ventura Cove. Bonita Cove and Ventura Cove Beach are both nearby and tend to be a little busier. When visiting Bahia Point Park, drive to the end of the point before settling into a spot. The north end has picnic tables, fire rings, and restrooms nearby. To get to Bonita Point turn north onto Gleason Road off W Mission Bay Drive just east of Mission Boulevard. There are parking spaces all along this road and in a lot at the north end..
