About Cascade Creek Beach in Pescadero, California

Cascade Creek Beach in Ano Nuevo State Reserve is open to the public during park hours. There is a small parking area along Highway 1 about two miles north of the main reserve entrance that has signage about the reserve. The Cascade Creek Trail starts at this parking area and crosses a large open area on a double-track trail for over a half-mile. The trail drops down to the beach just north of Cascade Creek. Feel free to explore this remote beach, but don’t go south of the creek mouth at the wetlands area since the beach from here to Point Ano Nuevo is a closed wildlife protection area. Look over the map at the trailhead to see where to hike and which areas are closed.
