About Coronado Tidelands Park in Coronado, California

Tidelands Park is a Coronado city park with sports fields, a skate park, and a sandy beach on San Diego Bay. It is located next to the San Diego-Coronado Bridge entrance on Coronado Island. The small beach here has palm trees overhead and the paved Bayshore Bikeway meandering through for bikers, runners, and walkers. Sailboats are tied to buoys offshore and their dinghies are pulled up on the beach at the south end. This is a popular place to put in with kayaks and stand-up paddleboards. The park has picnic tables and  full facilities and a play area for children. Views of the San Diego city skyline and the high bridge over the bay are stunning day and night.
