About Fiscalini Ranch Preserve in Cambria, California

West Fiscalini Ranch Preserve is an open space park between the northern and southern sections of Cambria. The land in this reserve was purchased in 2000 to protect it from development and to provide trails for recreation in the city. The property has about a mile of oceanfront land with a bluff trail and many interior trails for hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians. The shoreline below the bluffs is rocky and difficult to access in most spots. That said, there are spots where you can scramble down to the water’s edge. Tide pools are exposed during low tides in many places. Sea lions might be on the beach in Otter Cove near the south park entrance. In Fiscalini Ranch Preserve there’s a Monterey pine forest and some wetlands and marshes – all supporting lots of diverse wildlife. Parking can be found at the south end of Windsor Boulevard in the north part of Cambria (in Seaclift Estates) and at the north end of Windsor Boulevard in the south part of Cambria. East Fiscalini Ranch Preserve is across Highway 1 and it has a few more trails.
