About Grand Caribe Shoreline Park in Coronado, California

Grand Caribe Shoreline Park is a Port of San Diego park on an island next to the Coronado Cays housing and condo community on San Diego Bay. This simple park is great for walking or getting onto the water with a paddle.

The park has a large open space with trails at the south end of the island. If you explore the trails you’ll see colorful plant species and an informative panel with pictures and names helps you identify them.

A narrow beach wraps around the park and is perfect for beach walking when the tide isn’t high. This is a superb place to put in for kayaking and SUPing if you have the gear. Nearby Crown Cove is the place to go to rent and launch if not.

Coronado Cays Yacht Club occupies the north end of the island, but there is no beach there. The Calypso Cafe near the round-about has good lunch food if you get hungry.

Shoulder parking is available along the causeway and at the round-about by the park entrance.
