About Marine Stadium Beach in Long Beach, California

Marine Stadium in Long Beach, California has twice been the site of Olympic rowing competitions and annually is the site of other water-based events and professional power boat races. It’s open daily in the morning for rowing and 8am to sunset for water-skiing.

For a fee the public can launch boats here. There is a linear sandy beach along the south side of Marine Stadium. This spot is popular during events, but isn’t as popular as a sunbathing or swimming beach.

Mother’s Beach is nearby for protected swimming and Long Beach has many great sunbathing beaches on Alamitos Bay and the Ocean.

The entrance to Marine Stadium is on Paoli Way and parking is available inside the entrance.
