Riviera Shores Beach on Mission Bay

Riviera Shores Beach is on the west side of Crown Point on Mission Bay. Sail boats are pulled up on shore which is fitting to this beach location on Sail Bay. Unlike many of the other beaches in the area this one just has a public access but no park and no facilities. The Mission Bay Bike Path loops around Sail Bay connecting this beach to nearby Fanuel Park and Crown Point Park. This bike trail encircles the entire Mission Bay Park for about a 12 mile ride. Riviera Shores is pretty quiet compared to the other bay access points. There is no parking lot here, but street parking can be found within a block or two. Nice restaurants are a short walk away at the intersection of La Playa Avenue and Ingraham Street.
