La Valencia Hotel

La Valencia Hotel or “Pink Lady of La Jolla” is an historic hotel that offers all the grace and charm of any property along the California coast. Located in the middle of downtown La Jolla, within walking distance of galleries, shops, restaurants and the beach, the hotel overlooks popular La Jolla Cove and a beautiful park where many weddings and events take place.

Although the hotel does not sit directly on the beachfront, you need only exit the property and walk down the hill to go to the beach. So we’re calling it a beach hotel because beach access is actually closer than the beaches on site at places in La Jolla such as The Lodge at Torrey Pines and Torrey Pines Hilton Resort.

La Valencia is a landmark property with a recognizable pink exterior and distinctive mosaic-tiled tower discernible for miles. Inside, its Mediterranean-inspired decor and architecture is enhanced by rare antiques, beautiful Spanish mosaics, and hand-painted murals and ceilings.
