About Stinson Beach
Relax on the beach or hike for miles in the get-a-way town of Stinson Beach. The beach here is long, but the water is cold. Because of this, and all the fog, it is not a great location for sunbathing. Stinson Beach does hold the distinction, however, as one of California’s cleanest beaches. Plus, it’s not rocky. If you feel like “roughing it”, head to nearby Steep Ravine. The private beach offers rustic cabins and Cliffside campsites overlooking the large waves below.
