About Caspar
With art galleries and other businesses, Caspar evokes a real sense of community. It also features two beaches. Caspar State Beach is a prime location for whale watchers, along with swimmers, boaters and fishermen. It also includes miles of undeveloped beachfront. Jug Handle State Natural Reserve, meanwhile, uniquely includes five wave-cut terraces. For a little history, head to Point Cabrillo Light Station at California State Historic Park. There you’ll find the lighthouse, as well as a small museum and tide pool aquarium.
