These California Coast Restaurants Have Tempting Taco Tuesday Specials
Every Tuesday is basically a holiday in California—it’s when some of our best restaurants offer specials on their mouthwatering tacos. And while this is by no means a complete list, we thought we’d highlight some of our favorite Taco Tuesday spots.
Holé Molé, Huntington Beach, Long Beach
Holé Molé has several locations, mainly in Long Beach and Huntington Beach, and they’re an extremely popular local chain serving Mexican inspired Southern California comfort food. Their Taco Tuesday special is excellent and priced right.
Playa Amor, Long Beach
Long Beach has several excellent Taco Tuesday options, but we’re especially fond of Playa Amor. Their menu is sophisticated, their tacos are excellent, and on Tuesdays, they offer gourmet tacos and margaritas to sell.
Taco Mesa, Costa Mesa
Taco Mesa has food specials all week, but their Taco Tuesday is the best deal of all. Taco Mesa uses healthy, organic ingredients in their food, and they’re known for their organic pressed juices as well as their beer and margaritas.
Laguna Feast Authentic Mexican Cuisine, Laguna Beach
Taco Tuesday isn’t as prominent in Laguna Beach as it is in other parts of Southern California, but apparently it’s about quality over quantity here. On Tuesday, you can get tacos at Laguna Feast for a couple of bucks.
Tacoteca, Santa Monica
The atmosphere at Tacoteca is a little more upscale than your average taqueria, but the food is delicious and unpretentious. Their Taco Tuesday special is affordable with a two drink minimum, but they’re all you can eat, and they’re fantastic.
La Vecindad, San Diego
San Diego may not have invented Taco Tuesday, but they certainly took it to a whole new level. This delicious restaurant offers tacos in pairs and house margaritas for great prices on Tuesdays.
Cafe Coyote, Old Town, San Diego
Located in the heart of Old Town’s historic walking strip, Cafe Coyote’s Taco Tuesday special includes tacos with a whopping nine options to choose from, plus a weekly rotating special.
Salud, San Diego
Salud’s tacos won an award for the best tacos in San Diego last year, which is a huge honor in such a taco-obsessed city. No wonder they’re so packed on Tuesdays, when three tacos at a time for a special price.
Cerveza Jack’s, Pacific Beach, San Diego
Located in Pacific Beach, Cerveza Jack’s has to compete with a lot of happy hours. Their Taco Tuesday prices are fair, and they sell beer by the bucket load.
Brigantine, Del Mar
This iconic seafood spot offers tacos with fish, chicken or carne asada every Tuesday, not to mention the stunning views overlooking Del Mar. They also have locations in Coronado, Escondido, Imperial Beach, La Mesa, Poway, and two in San Diego.
