The Orange County Zoo has a wild side and a domestic one. They pride themselves on having rare and exotic animals that humans rarely see AND domestic animals that kids and families can see up close It’s small compared to the San Diego Zoo, but has a lot to offer in a compact space. OC Zoo is located in Irvine Regional Park in the city of Orange. After touring the zoo there are hiking and biking trails, playgrounds, and a lagoon with paddle boat rentals to enjoy in the park.
