About Central Coast Aquarium in Avila Beach, California
The Central Coast Aquarium is located in downtown Avila Beach California. It’s geared at families with kids who are eager to learn about marine life. They have touch tanks, and aquarium tanks filled with many different species. Specific animals you can see (and sometimes touch) include crabs, octopus, jellyfish, sea cucumbers, bottom fish, urchins, and sea stars (we don’t call them starfish anymore). They even have sharks… that you can touch! So many other exhibits too. The aquarium is open 10am to 4pm every day but Monday.
