Santa Barbara Surfing Museum (Closed) in Santa Barbara, California
We are sad to report that the Santa Barbara Surfing Museum has closed. After nearly 25 years of supporting the surfing culture on the California Central Coast, they are gone. See our list of the other surfing museums in California.
The Santa Barbara Surfing Museum has artifacts and memorabilia from the last century of surfing in California. It is amazing how much is packed into such a small space. The museum is located just steps from the lighthouse on Cabrillo Boulevard and a block from State Street and Stearns Wharf. Admission is free but donations are helpful to keep the doors open.
