Surfing Heritage and Culture Center

The Surfing Heritage and Culture Center in San Clemente is more than a surfing museum. Their mission goes beyond just the history of the sport, the evolution of the products, the techniques, and the people that helped get the sport to where it is today. Their non-profit organization reaches out beyond California to spread the appreciation of surfing as a sport, lifestyle, and culture to the rest of the US.

The museum has many exhibits other collections and displays that rotate in regularly. Admission is free but donations are encouraged. You can visit the Surfing Heritage and Culture Center mid-day on every day but Sunday.
