About Twin Peaks Viewpoint in San Francisco, California

Twin Peaks as it’s name suggests is made up of two summits, and is one of the more popular parks for taking in panoramic views of San Francisco. The peaks, North Peak (aka Eureka) and South Peak (aka Noe), are both just over 900 feel in elevation. Trails with steps ascend both peaks for those who don’t mind the extra effort. For everyone else there is a viewpoint from a parking lot north of Eureka that is called the Christmas Tree Point Viewing Area. It doesn’t have the 360 degree views of the summits, but by walking the perimeter of the parking area, one can get almost the same city views.
