Santa Monica is not lacking for fine hotel properties. If only other beach cities were so lucky! Of the nicer hotels, this one seems to be a good value. The suites are within view of the beach and the exercise facilities are really neat, overlooking the Santa Monica Pier and Ferris wheel.
