With your choice of private rooms, family rooms or dorms, the Marin Headlands Hostel supplies space for upwards of 100 guests. Housed in a century-old military hospital, the site provides on-site laundry, full kitchens, shared bathrooms and free parking. Cell phone service here is spotty at best, and pets aren’t allowed, but linens and towels are provided to all guests. Prepare your own meals in the property’s kitchen or pack a picnic lunch to end your morning hike. The Sausalito hostel is a part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, close to neighboring San Francisco, secluded South Rodeo Beach and the majestic views of Black Sands Beach.
