About Encinitas Beach in Encinitas, California

If you walk south from Beacon’s Beach or north from Stone Steps Beach in Encinitas you’ll be at an area unofficially called Encinitas Beach. This beach doesn’t have its own access, so it is a great spot of you are looking for seclusion. The tall walls that are preventing erosion for the expensive homes up on the bluff also provide a space to sunbathe that is not visible from above. Encinitas Beach isn’t anything special – it’s just a narrow strip of sand where locals can hide away. It makes for a great beach walk when the tide allows. At high tide Encinitas Beach can be all wet so check the tides before heading here.

It’s a great beach, but I can barely give it one star because of the dangerous bluff conditions. The recent “bluff failure” looks suspiciously like it was a failure of human minds and actions that were most likely due to this recent failure, not God or Nature as implied in the article: https://www.nbcsandiego.com/news/local/encinitas-bluff-collapse-closes-access-trail-to-beacons-beach/3403309/
