Schoonmaker Beach is the sandy beach next to the Schoonmaker Point Marina in Sausalito, CA. It is a good place for families as the beach has a gradual slope and calm waters protected from the ocean waves where kids can play safely.

Nearby are two parks just a short walk away. Dunphy Park, which has a sand volleyball court and bocce ball courts, is just south on Bridgeway Street. Also nearby Schoonmaker is the Bay Model Visitor Center which has a huge scale model of San Francisco Bay that people of any age will find interesting (free admission, open Tues-Sat).
