About Aquarium of the Bay in San Francisco, California
Aquarium of the Bay is located on Pier 39 in the Fisherman’s Wharf District of the San Francisco waterfront. This unique aquarium has tunnels the length of a football field that meander through large tanks filled with many marine species and saltwater from San Francisco Bay. It is claimed that these tanks hold 20,000 animals from tiny to huge (think sharks). There are so many other exhibits to see and read about. Aquarium of the Bay is one of the top aquariums in California and, therefore, a popular attraction so get tickets early if you can.
