About Franklin Hotsprings in Paso Robles, California

Franklin Hotsprings is a private hot spring just outside the city of Paso Robles. Their natural mineral spring keeps the outdoor hot soaking pool at 100 degrees F and it spills over into a larger swimming area that stays at around 97 F. There is a small fee to enter the facility and at times they go on the honor system. The prices are so low that it feels like a non-profit, so don’t expect a fancy resort. This is a day-use facility only that is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily (open until midnight Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

Kayaks, canoes, and non-motorized boats and floats are allowed on the pond which is said to have great fishing. No fishing license is required as this is a privately owned property. Kids will love this place (under 15 can enter for just $5).
