About Sonoma TrainTown Railroad in Sonoma, California

TrainTown is a railroad-based theme park in the North Bay Area town of Sonoma. Since 1968 train enthusiasts and curious visitors have been riding the trains at this 10-acre park.

The main attraction is the quarter scale train (1/4th the size of a full-size train) that can be ridden around the park. The railroad tracks for this train meander over four miles through incredible scenery and it takes about 20 minutes.

Young visitors will enjoy the five small amusement park rides that include a Ferris wheel, a carousel, and a small roller coaster. Each one has a railroad theme.

All the rides are charged per person per ride and there is no charge for entry into the park. TrainTown is open every day from June to August and Friday-Sunday September to May.
