About Veterans Park in Redondo Beach, California

Veterans Park is the large grass park just south of the Redondo Beach Pier. It has many picnic tables surrounded by trees and is just a short walk from the pier where you can find several restaurants that offer take-out lunches. The park also has a play area for kids and is just above Redondo County Beach. Stairs lead right down to the sand. As expected by the park name, there is an American flag and a veterans memorial at the back of the park.
