This hostel sits on a cliff below the 115-foot tall Pigeon Point Lighthouse on the Central California Coast. The hostel rooms are in four separate houses and have full kitchens and lounges. Stunning beaches such as Pistachio Beach and Whaler’s Cove are easy access nearby. The grounds are stunning and have boardwalks and trails meandering about on the bluff within Pigeon Point Light Station State Historic Park. Getting here is easy as it’s only an hour’s drive from the San Francisco or San Jose areas. Book beds in advance if you want to stay at Pigeon Point Hostel.
