About California Citrus State Historic Park in Riverside, California
Take a free guided tour through citrus groves at this state park that was created to preserve the history of the citrus industry in California. Oranges, lemons, and grapefruit trees can be seen and the fruit can be tasted. Tours are offered Friday, Saturday, and Sunday year-round and are free as volunteer docents lead the tours. Even if you can’t catch the tour, the visitor center is informative and they have a museum and store on-site as well (also open Friday through Sunday). Even if the tours and visitor center closed, the park is open 7 days a week to walk around in the groves. There is a small parking fee for each vehicle.
