About Gualala River Kayaking in Gualala, California
Gualala River is one of the better estuaries on the California coast to explore by kayak or canoe. Adventure Rents in Gualala makes it easy to do this. They’ll rent you the craft you want whether a single kayak, a tandem, or a canoe, plus give you a life vest and instructions if needed. Rentals are available every day of the year by reservation, but during the summer months (mid-June through Labor Day), you can just drop in to their Gualala River bank location and be on your way. Gualala River is calm and scenic with beaches almost the full length of the route open for paddling. It’s just a short paddle to the main ocean beach in Gualala Point Regional Park too.
