About Gualala Bluff Trail in Gualala, California

The Gualala Bluff Trail is a half mile long walking trail on the waterfront in Gualala, Mendocino County. The trail is on the bluff above the Gualala River mouth and estuary. This is often a great spot for bird-watching and other wildlife watching (seals and sea lions included). There is no beach access from the Bluff Trail, but Gualala Point Regional Park is nearby on the other side of the river and it gives access to the beach at the river mouth.

Entrances to the Bluff Trail can be found at the Surf Motel and Vue Kitchen Restaurant at The Hotel Breakers (look for Bluff Trail Access signs). A good place to park is the large lot along the highway just south of Vue Kitchen. From there just walk around the buildings to access the trail.
