About Ocean Beach Pier in San Diego, California

The waterfront in Ocean Beach is the focal point of this San Diego neighborhood and Ocean Beach Pier is where it’s at.

All day long Ocean Beach City Beach is buzzing with energy. Behind the beach is a grass park with picnic tables called Ocean Beach Park. At the south end of the beach you can’t miss Ocean Beach Pier as it is one of the longest piers on the West Coast. This sturdy concrete pier supports the weight of many visitors on sunny days. It’s a popular attraction for the views, the fishing, and the long walking surface.

South of the pier there are hidden tidepools that are exposed at low tides.

Parking for Ocean Beach Pier is at a small parking lot on Abbott Street and street spots that are available nearby.
