About Roundhouse Marine Studies Lab and Aquarium in Manhattan Beach, California
The Roundhouse Aquarium is the smallest of the California Coast aquariums, but the cost of admission is nothing (literally free) and its location is hard to beat. You’ll find the Roundhouse at the end of the Manhattan Beach Pier near Los Angeles. Inside you can view marine animals in glass tanks and in touch tanks. The organization is more about educating kids than making a profit and a lot of the work here is done by volunteers. Because it is a non-profit, we suggest that you leave a small donation to keep their efforts going. Hours are limited Monday through Friday, but they are open daily, and since it’s free, you should check it out!
