Two Harbors Dive & Recreation Center in Two Harbors, California
Open daily from 9 to 5 year-round, the Two Harbors Dive and Recreation Center is a key to the adventure that the west end of Catalina Island offers. They are best known for renting gear for kayaking, snorkeling and scuba diving, but they also offer more items for enjoying the beaches and venturing out from town.
For on the water, they rent single and tandem kayaks, stand-up paddleboards (SUPs), boats, hyrdobikes, and Zayaks (like a kayak but you lay face town to see through a clear window into the sea). PFDs (life-vests) and wetsuits are available.
For the beach, they rent umbrellas, beach chairs, and toys for games of all types (volleyball, bocce, horseshoes (pits nearby), and discs for the local disc golf course.
Guided tours can be booked as well including kayaking and bike tours. Bikes can be rented for self-guided exploration.
