About Fourth of July Cove on Catalina Island in Two Harbors, California

Fourth of July Cove is a small boat moorage harbor just west of Isthmus Cove and the town of Two Harbors on Catalina Island. It’s a deep east facing cove that provides excellent protection for boats moored there.

This cove is leased to the Fourth of July Yacht Club who manage the moorings and the facilities on land. The beach is closed to the general public.

Visitors staying in 4th of July Cove can walk into the town of Two Harbors by road, or they can take a water taxi or their dinghy back and forth.

Catalina Express operates a ferry daily to the island from the mainland in Long Beach, Dana Point and San Pedro in Los Angeles (this is the only boat that goes to Two Harbors).
