About Bermuda Beach in San Diego, California

Bermuda Beach, aka Bermuda Ave or Bermuda Avenue Beach, is a locals beach tucked away below homes and apartment buildings in the south part of the Ocean Beach district of San Diego. There are stairs down to Bermuda Beach from the end of Bermuda Avenue west of Sunset Cliffs Boulevard. Down on the beach you can see the Ocean Beach Pier in the distance to the north. There are large moss-covered rocks in the surf to climb on when the tide is out. Signs warn of dangerous conditions so watch for rip currents and beware when surf is high. On-street parking is available in the area, but it is limited. Come here at sunset to watch the sun go down and bring a camera. Note that if you are not a local you might feel out of place at this beach when it is busy. Ocean Beach City Beach is a nearby alternative.
