Camino Del Sur Beach Access is a path and a stairway at the end of Camino Del Sur in Isla Vista, California. Just east of the access is tiny Window-to-the-Sea Park with a wooden swing for two that overlooks the ocean and faces the Channel Islands. West of the access is Walter Capps Park with wide open space on the grass, but no beach access or facilities. Note that this portion of Isla Vista Beach will be all wet at higher tides. The foundations of homes and the roots of a lone tree are visible in the eroding bluff near the stairway. Parking is a problem in all of Isla Vista, but look for street parking spaces along Del Playa Drive.
