Centennial Park at Coronado Ferry Landing

Centennial Park, located next to the Coronado Ferry Landing, has a sandy beach on San Diego Bay. Condo buildings look down on this grass park, but the focal point is across the water.

The views of the downtown San Diego Skyline from this location are truly hard to beat. Photographers delight in this spot to capture the city bathed in sunset light or shoot the reflection of lights from skyscrapers on the bay.

Tall palm trees line Centennial Park Beach nearest the Coronado Ferry Landing Pier. Another small beach is a little quieter as it is farther from the landing.

The Bayshore Bikeway passes right through here and meanders about Coronado Island. There are shops and restaurants nearby in the Old Ferry Landing Shopping Center if you plan to come here for the day.

The park is located where Orange Avenue ends at 1st Street in Coronado. The easiest access is from downtown San Diego via the foot ferry. If you are driving, there is a small lot at 1st Ave, but the best parking is at the Coronado Ferry Landing. Centennial Park is just northwest of the landing.
