About Coronado Bayshore Bikeway in Coronado, California
The Bayshore Bikeway is a bike route that loops around San Diego Bay. Parts of the loop utilize bike lanes on streets next to the bay, but the majority of the route is a paved bike path with no vehicular traffic. The 8-mile long segment from Coronado to Imperial Beach is entirely bike path and makes a great route to take that rented bicycle on. This segment passes by several bayside parks with beaches that are worth visiting including Glorietta Bay, Crown Cove, and Grand Caribe (not to mention the excellent ocean beaches at Imperial Beach and Coronado Beach).
