Sail Bay Beach on Mission Bay

Sail Bay is a large circular bay inside the Mission Beach Peninsula in San Diego’s Mission Bay. The sandy beach wraps the entire perimeter of Sail Bay from Santa Clara Point Recreation Center to Crown Point. Access to Sail Bay is from anywhere at the north end of Mission Beach Peninsula, Pacific Beach Drive, and Riviera Drive on Crown Point. Fanuel Street Park might be the easiest access point since it has a parking lot and restroom facilities too. At the intersection of Riviera Drive and Moorland Drive you’ll find the easiest access the area known as Riviera Shores Beach on Sail Bay. The Bayside Walk pathway makes it easy to stroll around Sail Bay and continue to other places on Mission Bay.
