About Little River
Taking its name from the nearby river, the small town of Little River offers just a handful of businesses, including a restaurant, gas station and grocery store all in one building. The location is scenic, though, overlooking the river on a beautiful California bluff. A highway cuts through the middle of Van Damme State Park, leaving a campground and forest trails on one side and a beach and coastal trails on the other. One of the more interesting locations is at Little River Blowhole. Take a short hike to watch waves and seawater rush in during high tide.
