Big Sur Station in Big Sur, California
Big Sur Station is a perfect place to start your vacation to the Big Sur area. Big Sur Station is a visitor center for Los Padres National Forest and they have loads of information on everything that might interest you in this remote area of the California Coast.
Hiking trails, beaches, campgrounds, hot springs, restaurants, hotels, and even glamping opportunities (no tents and sleeping bags required!) are all nearby. Pick up maps and brochures to learn about each spot and get there with ease.
The station also has a small store with guidebooks, maps, outdoor essentials and fun stuff to remind you of Big Sur. The station and store are open seven days a week.
Nearby Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park has so many outdoor excursion to choose from. The town of Big Sur itself is small but packed with good places to eat and the area has many unique accommodations.
