About Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park in Big Sur, California

Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park is right in the heart of Big Sur. It’s a perfect base camp for many days of exploration on the Big Sur Coast. They have a large campground with nearly 200 camping spaces for tents and RVs all near the Big Sur River where you can swim in the summer months. The day use areas have parking lots with easy access to picnic areas and hiking trails, including a wonderful hike up to Pfeiffer Falls. Lots of other lodging options exist here, but look into staying at Big Sur Lodge which has rooms and a restaurant you won’t forget. See the list of nearby beaches below.
