Pfeiffer Falls in Big Sur, California
Pfeiffer Falls is located in Los Padres National Forest near the small town of Big Sur. These 60 foot waterfalls are up a trail that begins near Big Sur Lodge. Stop in at the Big Sur Ranger Station to get information on the trail to the falls, the camping in the area, and other recreation nearby. Big Sur Station is actually located in Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park, but is surrounded by Ventana Wilderness in the national forest. In Big Sur you’ll find lodging options, restaurants, a nature center, many trails, access to Big Sur River, and much more. One of our favorite beaches, Pfeiffer Beach is not far away.
