About Fernwood Resort in Big Sur, California
Set right alongside the Big Sur River and California’s Central Coast, Fernwood Resort serves up a unique destination, close to beaches, hiking and sensational views. Ranging from traditional motel rooms to fully equipped cabins and more rustic tent cabins, the large campground also includes a handful of luxury “glamping” cabins, complete with an electric heater and linens. As well, there are also campsites and the resort supports RV camping. Located in Big Sur, between San Francisco and LA, the campground borders the hiking trails of Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park, while an on-site tavern, general store and café provide additional options for guests. As well, the resort is less than two miles from remote Pfeiffer Beach.
