About Riverside Campgrounds & Cabins in Big Sur, California
Riverside Campground and Cabins is located right in the heart of the “business district” of Big Sur. If you haven’t been there before, it’s still a sparsely populated area, but it has services like restaurants and lodges and is the closest thing to a town along the entire Big Sur Coast. Riverside Campground has both tent and RV campsites in the woods and along the bank of Big Sur River. The spots aren’t cheap like the state park spots but you’ll get nice amenities including clean restrooms with hot showers, laundry facilities, and a fully stocked camp store. If you don’t want to camp, consider booking one of their 11 cozy cabins. Big Sur Roadhouse Restaurant is along Highway 1 next to this campground.
