Ventana Campground in Big Sur, California
Here’s a great camping and glamping option on the Big Sur Coast not far from the town of Big Sur. They have many camping sites to choose from for those who bring their own tent camping gear. RV’s and trailers are not allowed (no room), but they do allow camper vans and trucks with campers on them. Another option is glamping in their luxurious (but rustic) safari style canvas tents.
Ventana Campground is adjacent to the lodge-like Ventana Inn Resort which has a spa and fine restaurant too. This is a great setting on the hillside above Highway 1 not far from famous Pfeiffer Beach and lots of hiking options.
