About 26th Avenue Beach in Santa Cruz, California

The 26th Avenue Access leads to a narrow sandy beach between Moran Lake and Corcoran Lagoon on the east side of Santa Cruz, CA. Behind the beach are homes that are fighting erosional forces of the surf so there are huge piles of boulders along this section of the shoreline. At the end of 26th Avenue is a parking area for just three cars. A county-provided stairwell leads down from the lot to this secluded little area of beach in the Live Oak area. North and south of here are popular public beaches at Corcoran Lagoon and Moran Lake Lagoon. If the 26th Ave parking spots are taken you could park at Moran Lake Park and walk on street sidewalks or on the beach to get here. Note that many people call this 26th Street Beach even though it is on 26th Ave.
