About Santa Maria’s Beach in Santa Cruz, California
Santa Maria’s Beach is a small beach at the end of 19th Avenue in the Live Oak area of Santa Cruz, CA. The entrance at 19th is now closed, but there is a stairway to the beach at the end of 20th Ave. At the bottom of the stair you can go left to Corcoran Lagoon Beach and go right to little Santa Maria’s Beach. There is a rock shelf that continues north to Sunny Cove but it is a dangerous trek. South of 20th is Corcoran Lagoon County Beach. Parking in the area on weekends requires a permit to avoid a citation.
