Corcoran Lagoon Beach

Corcoran Lagoon Beach is located between 20th and 23rd Avenues on East Cliff Drive in the Live Oak area of Santa Cruz. The beach is wide and deep with room for many visitors, but parking in the area is a problem. There is no park at the lagoon and no designated parking area for the beach. If you don’t have a special permit to park in the area near the beach on weekends then you could get an expensive citation. The lagoon itself can get pretty nasty and sometimes the outflow takes over the beach. When the lagoon water is flowing into the ocean here, don’t swim in the waves due to possible contamination.
